Phoenix CL & Plurax CL are our benchmark for Clearfield varieties in Europe

Strengths

  • Phoenix CL is our benchmark for Clearfield varieties in Europe that reached the yield level of normal hybrids. It is one of the most widely adapted varieties in our portfolio that delivers consistent performance all over Europe and in very difficult conditions.

  • The key for its yield stability is the combination of positive attributes. It is vigorous in autumn and can outgrow the sensitive juvenile stage very quickly.

    • Due to its strong and deep tap root it can recover quickly in spring and it has access to water and nutrients in deeper soil layers.

    • Good package of disease resistance and the very good pod shatter resistance protects the seed until harvest time. Therefore you have a good protection from sowing to harvest.
