SOWING FOR SUCCESS
Data Driven Crop Management
Seedtech uses Raincrop and Windcrop, Sencrop’s connected rain and wind gauges on our trial site in Ferrybank, Co. Waterford.
These weather stations give us data from connected stations, allowing us to make informed decisions, anticipate risks, and monitor disease pressure to protect our crops, prioritise actions, and apply treatments at optimal times.
Each crop is subject to specific risks of diseases or pests (downy mildew, codling moth, scab, powdery mildew...), yet the development of these risks is largely linked to weather conditions.
Sencrop offers us precise weather data monitoring from our plots. The data is transmitted to the application so that we can use the information to protect our crops in the best possible way.
